My Real Estate Tips

I’m W. K. Winn and this is my Real Estate Tips blog.  I’m an experienced licensed North Texas area Real Estate Broker, and my areas of expertise include the marketing of commercial, farm, ranch and residential properties.  In my career I’ve been involved in land development, residential and commercial building and construction, and of course marketing all types of real estate, including commercial and residential planned development projects.     

I spent much of my early youth in Dallas.  My father owned and operated a plumbing business in town.  Pop went into real estate after he left the plumbing business, selling farms and ranches in the North Texas area.  After I finished school I did a stint in the army, then after I was discharged I did some traveling around the country. Once I returned home I studied real estate law and passed the Texas Broker’s Exam for my first real estate license in 1961.  That was the beginning of a 40+ year career in Real Estate, in sales, building, developing, and investing. 

The goal of this site is to give you the benefit of that knowledge and experience.  Though it’s not a question and answer forum it is a place you can probably find the answer to a Real Estate question. I’ll be posting papers on issues that often need to be carefully considered in this troubling economic environment, and my goal is to help furnish you with real solutions that will help you navigate the troubled waters of Real Estate investment today.  I’ll try to provide tools and information that will help you be successful.
